Photo-Caged GA3 (GA3-PC)

GA3-PC is chemically modified with a photolabile protecting group that renders it inactive until exposed to specific wavelengths of light.

Upon illumination, the released GA3 allows for precise spatial and temporal control over the activation of GA3, as the light can be directed to specific cells or regions within a tissue.

GA3-PC is used in experiments where precise control over the timing and location of GA3 activation is critical. It is particularly useful in studies of dynamic cellular processes, where researchers need to activate or inactivate proteins in specific areas at specific times.
