D-myo-Inositol 1,3,4-trisphosphate (Ins(1,3,4)P3) is a naturally occurring inositol trisphosphate involved in cellular inositol phosphate metabolism. It is formed downstream of Ins(1,4,5)P3 signaling via inositol 1,3,4,5-tetrakisphosphate and can undergo further phosphorylation or dephosphorylation.
Ins(1,3,4)P3 has been investigated as a regulator of inositol phosphate signaling and as a substrate for inositol polyphosphate phosphatases and kinases. This product is supplied as the hexapotassium salt.
