SH-6 (Akt Inhibitor III) is a phosphatidylinositol analogue used to investigate Akt-dependent signaling. SH-6 inhibits Akt activation and has been used in studies of PI3K/Akt signaling, cell survival and apoptosis.
As a phosphatidylinositol analogue, SH-6 has been investigated in a variety of cellular models, including glioma, breast cancer and colorectal cancer cells.
