myo-Inositol 1,2,4,5,6-pentakisphosphate (Ins(1,2,4,5,6)P5) is a defined regioisomer of inositol pentakisphosphate (InsP5) and an intermediate in inositol phosphate metabolism.

Ins(1,2,4,5,6)P5 can be generated by dephosphorylation of InsP6 and has been investigated as a product of phytase and inositol polyphosphate phosphatase activity. It is suitable as a defined standard and substrate for biochemical and analytical studies of inositol phosphate metabolism and enzymatic dephosphorylation. This product is supplied as the decasodium salt.
